Wolf Techs, LLC (“Wolf Techs,” “we,” or “our”) are committed to protecting your privacy. This SMS Messaging Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) governs how we collect and use information about you in relation to Wolf Techs text message (the “Messaging Service”), which we make available to you through a third-party service provider.
By using the Messaging Service, you agree to the terms of this Policy. Wolf Techs reserves the right, in our sole discretion, to modify or change this Policy at any time with or without prior notice to you. The date of the last update will be posted at the top of this Policy for your convenience. This Policy, and any changes, are effective as soon as posted and supersede any prior Policies. Your continued use of the Messaging Service following the posting of any changes to the Policy constitutes your full acceptance of those changes.
By contacting Wolf Techs via a phone call or through your use of the Messaging Service, we will receive Personal Information through our third-party service provider. “Personal Information” is information that individually identifies you, such as your mobile phone number when you send a text message to us, the text messages that you send to other users of the Messaging Service, any user or screen name that you select in connection with the Messaging Service, as well as any comments or feedback regarding the Messaging Service that you send to us or any other information that you choose to include in messages you send through the Messaging Service. When you send messages via the Messaging Service, we will also collect your messaging history and any information included in those messages.
We use Personal Information to (a) provide you with tech support services, (b) contact you with important information, alerts of software outages that you utilize, and (c) process and respond to inquiries.
Each message that you send through the Messaging Service (either to us or to other users of the Messaging Service) is stored on third party servers. Wolf Techs utilizes servers and services owned by third parties.
Wolf Techs will not rent or sell your Personal Information to other companies, individuals, third party marketing or affiliated marketing. We may use or disclose Personal Information in any of the following limited circumstances:
1) We need to enforce our Terms of Service.
2) We provide such information to trusted businesses or persons for the sole purpose of processing Personal Information on our behalf for software services that you use with Wolf Techs or providing the Messaging Service to you. When this is done, it is subject to agreements that oblige those parties to process such information in compliance with their Policy and appropriate confidentiality and security measures. If the third party fails to comply with their own terms, Wolf Techs is not accountable in any way for any liability or reimbursement from any parties.
3) We believe disclosure of Personal Information is necessary or appropriate to: (i) comply with applicable law and legal processes; (ii) respond to requests from public and government authorities, including public and government authorities outside your country of residence; (iii) enforce a contract with us; (iv) allow us to pursue available remedies or limit the damages that we may sustain.
Wolf Techs takes a variety of physical, technical, administrative, and organizational security measures based on the sensitivity of the information we collect to protect your Personal Information against accidental, unlawful destruction, accidental loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure or access. However, no online activity can be guaranteed to be 100% secure and we cannot guarantee that hackers or unauthorized personnel will not gain access to your Personal Information despite our efforts.
You should note that in using the Messaging Service, your information will travel through third-party infrastructures which are not under our control (such as a third-party provider’s SMS delivery platform or your carrier network). While we strive to protect your information against unauthorized use or disclosure, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you provide or any information that you transmit to other users. By using the Messaging Service, you agree that Wolf Techs is not liable for any unintentional disclosure.
The Messaging Service is not intended for children under 13, and Wolf Techs does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13.
Children aged 13 or older should not submit any Personal Information without the permission of their parents or guardians. By using the Messaging Service, you are representing that you are at least 18 years old.
Wolf Techs primarily conducts business with other small business owners to provide technical support, software and computer products, for their network environment.
Wolf Techs requires that users of the Messaging Service be limited to US residents only.
We retain your Personal Information for as long as you participate in the Messaging Service or as needed to comply with applicable legal obligations. We will also retain and use your Personal Information as necessary to resolve disputes, protect us and our customers, and enforce our agreements.
Use of the Wolf Techs text message-based services (the “Messaging Service”) is subject to the following Terms of Service. These terms constitute a legal agreement (the “Agreement”). Please read them carefully.
1) You can opt-in of receiving text messages via the Messaging Service by responding to our text message with the following reply: START or SUBSCRIBE.
2) You can opt-out of receiving further text messages via the Messaging Service by responding to any of our text messages with any of the following replies: STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE. You will then receive an automated response confirming that you have been unsubscribed. If you want to join again, just reply with the word START or SUBSCRIBE.
3) You can also text the word HELP to request assistance to either subscribe or unsubscribe for the Messaging Service during the normal business hours of Wolf Techs.
4) As always, message and data rates may apply for any messages and recurring messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Mobile phone carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages and Wolf Techs is not liable for the cost of any such messages. If you have any questions about your text plan or data plan, it is best to contact your wireless provider.
5) You understand that anyone with access to your mobile phone may be able to reply and view the messages you receive when using the Messaging Service, and you agree that Wolf Techs will not be liable to you if this occurs.
6) You understand that you are not required to consent to the Messaging Service to receive any other services from Wolf Techs.
7) By agreeing to these Terms of Service and providing us with your mobile phone number when you opt in to the Messaging Service, you authorize Wolf Techs to contact you by text message at your mobile phone number using an automatic telephone dialing system or device, or any other computer assisted technology as applicable.
